SCOUTS & GUIDES ACTIVITIES YEAR 2009-10
A unit of scouts and guides is running in the vidyalaya.The Unit has 24 cubs,24 bulbuls,28 scouts
and 24 guides in all.the unit was registered in the month of july 2009.
Two guides Miss Mohini Verma and Miss Karishma Choudhary of class 10th. and one scout
Master Vivek kumar of class 11th(Commerece) are seleceted foe Rajya Puraskar testing camp in
the Pre-Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp held at K.V. Upper camp ,dehradun w.e.f 06-08-2009 to 08-08-2009
Four guides and three scouts have participated in Tritrya Sopaan Testing Camp held at K.V Moradabad w.e.f
11-09-2009 to 14-09-2009.The result is still awaited.
At school level,the month wise activities are going on regularly.Students were carried on
a hike on 13-08-2009.Two days Camp was organised in the vidyalaya on 02-09-2009 and 03-09-2009.
Students were tested for Pravesh,Pratham Sopaan and Dwitiya Sopaan separetely in batches.
Thye camp started with flag ceremony .students prepared their tents and learnt various types of
hitches an knots making by using ropes.They also learnt cooking.The camp was closed with flag
lowering ceremony.
SCOUTS & GUIDES ACTIVITIES YEAR 2008-09
1. In july-2008, 4 teachers of the Vidyalaya attended different level training courses of Scouts and Guides at K.V. B.H.E.L., Haridwar. Mrs. Neel Kamal Chauhan, TGT (Eng.) attended advance course for Guides, Mr. Mukesh Kumar, PRT attended Advance Course for Scouts. Mrs. Sushila Devi PRT attended Basic Course for Scouts. They all successfully qualified the training course.
2. In Augest-2008, Two days Camp was organized in the Vidyalaya w.e.f. dated 9.8.08 to 10.8.08. In this camp Scouts and Guides of Pravesh, Pratham Sopan and Dwitiya Sopan as well as cubs and Bulbuls of Pravesh, Komal Pankh and Rajat Pankh participated actively and qualified the tests.
3. 9 Scouts and 6 guides were sent to participate in Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp organized as cluster level by the Regional Office, DDR at K.V. Sikh Lines, Meerut Cantt. W.e.f. 11.9.08 to 15.09.08. They all qualified the test successfully. Mrs. Sushila Devi, PRT and Mr. Mukesh Yadav, PRT escorted the students.
