Category : A : Excellent: Parents to be watchful to maintain it.

Category:   B:  Very good/good. 

Scope for further improvement:  Parents must encourage their wards to
improve.  They have potential to perform better.

Category : C: Average/Satisfactory : Lack of interest.  The parents should try to improve upon the short comings to their ward.  They must consult teachers for
Removing  difficulties.

Category : D : Poor : Lack of interest.  The parents should try to develop their ward’s interest in studies and see that he/she does his home work regularly.

General : Parents should note the term wise grading and improvement in performance of their ward during the year.

  1. Parents should contact the teachers more frequently to get the feed back about their wards.

  1. They should check that their wards attend the classes regularly.
  2. They should supervise their studies and work.
  3. Time table should be prepared for their regular studies.

MINUTES OF VIDYALAYA MANAGMENT COMMITTEE HELD ON 2 AUG 2008

1ST MEETING

1 . Committee approved the demand of 2 LCD projectors 1 for computer lab & one for activity room.

2. Purchase of software : committee approved the purchase of software tools Oracle & VISUAL BASIC.

3. Medical Check up camps for school students at military hospital roorkee.

4. Acitivity room & mathematical laboratory needed some shelves for displays was approved.

5. Regarding Ac’s for computer laboratory split ac’s were considered subject to approval of grant from KVS HQuaters in all 4 ac’s for two computer labs

6. A proposal was given for setting up a temporary shed for unused furniture & storing old display boards etc.

7. partition of office can be installed up to 4 fet so that some privacy can be available to the people working in the office

8. intercom to be installed to connect various dept with principal office

9. the principal informed the committee that a part of foundation wall was washed in heavy rains a letter was sent to MES for reconstruction reply is awaited.

10.approval was also given to fix the display boards in all classes , an extra sweeper was also felt for cleaning the classrooms

2nd meeting held on 16/09 /2008

1. Principal through a light on academic achievements of vidyalaya. she informed the committee that board results for class Xth were 94.1 % . 05 students had compartments. Abhinav Arya was the topper with 90% marks she also assured the committee to achive 100% results in comming sessions.

2. the principal further informed that 98 students participated in regional sporsts meets 2008 and 33 students qualified for kvs national games 2008.

3. vidiyalya participated in in pre regional and regional social science exhibition.

4 issue of medical checkup was also raised chairman confirmed & assure a medical & dental checkup for students.

5. principal requested to level the playground.

6. plantation of trees to be taken up on war footing.

7. primary section to be fited with swings

8. suggestion for takeing a picnic or edu tour was also considered.

9. Chairman enquried & sugested PTA meet should also counsal weak tudents parents.

10.chairman informened that a running trophy would be initiated by BEG & C roorkee to be presented to the over all best house & a cash prize of rs 4000/- for topper of Class Xth & XII each.

MINUTES OF THE V.M.C. MEETING HELD ON 12.02.2009

1) The Principal welcomed Col A.N. Thakur,Deputy Commandant,BEG & C Roorkee, Nominee Chairman,Vidyalaya Management Committee,K.V.No.2,Roorkee and the other distinguished members of the V.M.C. The undersigned presented a brief report of the achievements and contribution of the vidyalaya. She informed them that the school won 13 medals ( 12 Gold + 01 Silver ) at K.V.S. National Meet 2008 held at Hyderabad. K.V.S. awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000/- to the Judo silver medal winner and Rs. 500/- each to the winners of the Gold medal for Kho-Kho & Kabaddi. Therefore total amount of cash prize is Rs. 8000/-. These students had earlier been presented with blazers sponsored by State Bank of India , BEG & C Roorkee at the time of Mini sports meet on 15th Dec.2008. Two students represented Uttrakhand at the Open Nationals of the Judo Championship held at Manipur.

2) Gayatri Midhi of class V won a consolation prize and cash award of Rs.1000/- for her painting in the inter school drawing competition on conservation of Energy organized by Uttrakhand Power corporation in the month of November.

3) Two students Vishakha,(class XI) and Mohni,(class IX) participated in inter school debate organized by N.I.H. and got the first Prize. The members appreciated and congratulated the winning students.

4) The committee was informed that medical and dental check up had been carried out. It was suggested that an the parent teacher meetings teachers should inform the parents if their wards have a major health problem so that follow up action can be taken up by the doctors. Regarding the problem of cavities, it was felt that counseling should be taken up.

5) Development of play Grounds and sports infrastructure: The Nominee Chairman,VMC suggested that an officer of the MES should be included as a member of the V.M.C.so that a contact could be established. He also suggested that if necessary the services of a professional can be obtained to assess and prepare a project report for developing the play ground, athletics track etc. Once the proposal is ready it can be assessed by the M.E.S.

6) For carrying out the work in connection with the renovation of the stage, building a hard stand and planning of drainage system it was suggested that at the initial stage the advice of a technical expert can be taken from the civil department of I.I.T. After that the same proposal can be prepared.

7) The committee advised that students can be sent to the nearby Glass factory, Power house and house rearing training centre, Saharanpur etc for an educational excursions tour.

8) Tree plantation: It was felt that along with plantation, stress should be laid on survival and care of the plants especially with the involvement of students and Tree guards should be provided.

9) Efforts should be made for counselling of Board students. The committee laid stress on the fact that counseling should be organized for the students and parents so that they will be able to face the board exam confidentially.

10) The nominee Chairman informed the members that a running trophy would be initiated by the BEG & C Roorkee to be presented to the over all best house of the year on the occasion of the Annual Day Function. A cash prize of Rs.4000/- each would also be awarded to the toppers of class X & XII by the BEG & C Roorkee. The undersigned thanked all the members for their encouraging words and valuable suggestions for the progress of the school.

 

 

MINUTES OF V. M. C. HELD ON
16.4.2009

The members of Executive Committee met under the guidance of the Nominee Chairman Col R. Khetrapal and discussed matters relating to the expenditure of Annual Function and some other related issues. The following are the highlights of the discussion.

1) The budget for the Annual function under different heads was discussed and approved. Since the upper limits of the expenditure were mentioned, the Principal assured the Committee that it would not exceed the limit. Approval was given for the same.

2) Regarding the estimate for the construction of the Cycle stand and renovation of stage and hard stand, the Principal informed the Committe that the MES had not yet given it. Col R. Khetrapal promised to take up the matter with the MES.

3) The idea of decorating the walls of the Class I & II in the Primary section was approved. It would be taken up by the Drawing teacher.

4) Approval was given for Painting the lower portion of the walls with oil bound distemper during the summer vacation.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks.
